From now on...

I'm gonna change the layout of this site EVERY MONTH, preferably to match the time of year. Cool, right? I know!
This one doesn't really flow with the month of August...but it's ok, 'cause it's only a temp! The August version won't be up...instead I'ma wait til Labor Day and change the layout for September! I'll still kinda incorporate August! It'll probably be fall colors...like oranges, browns and greens. Dig me? Good!

1. Daydreaming Nightmares

-The concept tape he is working on now! The concept is him telling a special story...in reverse chronological order!

2. Paper Route EP

(EP) | Release: Before Album/TBA

-This EP will be released around a month prior to the release of the album, just to prepare you all for the "extravaganza that we're gonna bless you with", as Brannigan would say.

3. Paper Route LP

(Album) | Release: TBA

-Brannigan's first studio album, depicting tales of the process it took to actually make the album...along with anything else he does, including the inspiration behind it. It's very psychological.

4. Soundtrack of My Journey

(Mixtape) | Release: TBA

-Another concept mixtape! This one is about his journey from Earth to his planet, and his return back...along with other adventures along the way. We have recieved all the beats and are in the process of writing already! Due to the space theme, all beats sound "spacey" if you will (for lack of better words). He decided to do this because all rappers claim they're from "space", but B actually has an addiction to it...to prove that he's not just another one of them, but that he is really true in his addiction to space and life beyond our planet.

Extra, Extra!

Due to the restlessness that comes with BK making his album, and the push listeners are making, he has decided to release a mixtape prior to the album release.
The album isn't slated to release until late 2010, so we WILL be doing this mixtape before then!

Also, before the album release we'll be releasing a 5-7 track EP, just as promo.

But stay tuned for info on the concept mixtape! It's basically going to tell a story...
It should be ready possibly early 2010...maybe a little more towards the middle, but way before the album!

Listening to "So Far Gone" (Drake), I heard a track titled "Say What's Real"...
It inspired me to write my own version of it, and speak on some thoughts floating around in my brainspace.
So we went into the lab (STR8 4RM THE NOTEBOOK STUDIOS) and came out with this!
A few short stories of a young boy having to take the role of a man too soon, and the effects it's had on his life...including the alterations of his dreams, hopes and aspirations.

I can never seem to stop thinking about you.

I know - for sure - I'm thinking about you when nights I don't sleep; and I'd rather just lay up...letting the memories of you run thru my head. Kinda like pretending you're there...I mean, here. ALBUM NEWS: Album Cover - Option #1 (by FLP)

I recieved this cover a few days ago via e-mail from my artistic partners in crime, Flashing Lights Photography. Speaking of, every piece of art you recieve from me (pictures, toons, etc) are taken, edited and owned by FLP! So let me know what you think of option numero uno! I am not taking more than 20 covers and then I'll narrow it to 10 myself; after that, we'll take it to the world! For a few weeks we'll hold an open poll in which the top 5 covers to get votes will advance. I'll send the creators of these covers an e-mail letting them know they've made the top 5, also giving them a chance to add some finishing touches and re-submit their images to us (we'll give the artists a couple weeks for that task). Following, the final drafts will be posted again to this web page and all of my other social sites for ANYONE to vote! We will give each image a week. Meaning: We will post the 5 images and every weeks one will get cut. At the end of the five weeks we will be able to declare a winner and that will be the official cover! For the artists that did not win, there is no worry. We will use your original or final draft as promotional tools, default pictures for social sites, single covers, or artwork for the physical copy of the CD! Also, I will reward you with spotlight on the official website, a free poem/song, and a fan photo straight to you personally, and much more free awesomeness! Cool?

So if you would like to enter, follow these easy steps:
1.) Let me know you are interested via e-mail: HELLOBRANNIGAN@YAHOO.COM - I will notify you upon recieving the message!
2.) Once notified, you will have a period of time to create your artwork. You can give it to me physically or send it through the internet to: YOBRANNIGAN@YAHOO.CO (or the e-mail above)! Once again, we will notify you when we recieve it.
3.) That's basically it, your image will be posted on all of my sites after we recieve a certain amount and be up for voting. We will send you updates frequently on the status of your image. Providing: links, statistics, etc. We will send you your free song/poem, fan photo and add you to our "Spotlight Section" immediately upon entrance. All the other perks are dependent on how far you make it in the competition!

A work in progress...

The making of the album is now officially underway.
All of the beginning decisions have been made. Those like...should we do it now, what's the project title, what name is it under, who would we like to callb with, and many more. We've come to terms on it all!

This project, tentatively titled "Paper Route LP", is a concept album which focuses around my idea of a year ago..."dreaming through a pencil". This album features songs only about my writing process, the thoughts that may go through my head and etcetera.

I have arranged the tracks, including number and order. I've got ideas for collaborations, but I have yet to set them in motion. I contacted many artists from my last project and hope their offers are still extended for this project.

Extra, Extra!

Ok, so...

As some of you may know BK is currently away from the music scene; due to some personal issues and some things that need to be worked out with the music he wants to present to the world. But while he is away he is still busy at work, working hard I might add, though it is not yet public.

With the time away he has cleared his mind. This has helped him make some key decisions he wasn't able to make while in the public eye. He has made a final, concrete decision on his first album, his second album and also his third. He has come up with concepts and titles for some promotional EPs. And he has started minor details of some of his biggest mixtapes. All around, the time off is only doing good things for him. He is taking the chance to step back and really think about his future. Something he has not been able to due lately, due to him taking up 110% of his time trying to make a name for himself in the industry.

Upon his return you should expect his first album! Titled "Paper Route LP". He has his concepts and is in the writing stages. We have not yet reached out for collaborations but when his parts are written we will move on a do so. He wants this project to really reach out to unsigned and indie artists, as well as people that don't really do music at all (in other words, getting fans more involved).

Through his hard times he has stated that music is something "spiritual" to him. Also saying that the success of a song is just as "spiritual". He feels that the support of the listening audience is his drive to keep making records, so there is no other way to repay you for your support in bad times and good is to include you in all that he does! This being one of those things that he "does". So be looking for those chances coming up. We've already got one person that we have made a promise to include (Sam M., we have not forgotten you!).

It is my honor to give you this amazing news and news that will follow. More is coming to you all soon, so stay tuned with us!

Ok, so...
Changes have been made.
I've finally sat down with my team and worked out how we're gonna arrange my upcoming projects.

First off, and coming next is the really small EP "Memo DEMO". It's only gonna have 5 tracks on...and something special for you all. :)
After that...we have 6 other EPs planned. All these (except for the "Static On Your Radio" mixtape release, which has 14) have 10 or fewer tracks, but are 6 and above.
After the last release of "Zero", we go in on the mixtape extravaganza!!! There a quite a few planned and after all are released. We got to work on "O Positive"...the first album!!! It is built off of a concept so more on that to come later in progress.

For now, prepare for "Memo DEMO"! The 5 tracks are already known, so now it's just a matter of production and so forth...I will update you on the progress of that as it comes along. Some promo art and covers will be up within the coming weeks...
After that it's the EP crazed madness we call the "Paper Route".

So Donavan (known by his Squarian name, XV) just put out a new project, "Everybody's Nobody", on the 31st. It's his best piece of work with "The Square In The Cirlce" following after. So I wanted to take this opportunity to put him in the spotlight on my site. He has a bright future so he doesn't really need a light at all! LOL!
